What do our Regional Directors do?

The responsibility of this role is to provide operational excellence within the assigned region. The Regional Director drives change management plans, develops strategies and deploys tactics to attain short-term and long-term financial and mission-critical operational goals .
Through their leadership, the Regional Director is responsible for achieving Rentokil North America's (RNA) Company goals and revenue growth, employee relations, business trends, and ensuring that company policies and standards are being met by each branch.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee net APBITA across branches and sales and service operations to ensure achievement of revenue and profit plans
  • Monitor progress against district and region revenue objectives
  • Oversee development of General Managers through talent assessment and development
  • Monitor and actively coach all levels of district colleagues
  • Manage recruiting efforts, interviewing, candidates hiring and onboarding to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a talented bench strength
  • Oversee relationship with all residential clients
  • Oversee end-to-end relationship with specific commercial clients
  • Resolve clients disputes, complaints, and handle outstanding claims
  • Ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence across branches
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the business and hold colleagues accountable to the same standards
  • Lead and drive organisation values through quality of service, relationships and teamwork
  • Orchestrate joint team meetings to build camaraderie and share best practices
  • Understand Rentokil's and Terminix processes, including roadmap for safety/structure/service offerings
  • Leverage new evaluation criteria for colleague performance
  • Oversee multi-branch P&L and sales /and service operations to ensure achievement of revenue & profit plans
  • Establish tracking forums to assess progress against branch/region revenue objectives & influence sales / service activity and execution
  • Enable ongoing development of BMs via effective evaluations, coaching, goal-setting, and cross-region knowledge sharing
  • Invest in branch-level staff development by modelling effective ride-a-longs, audits, skip-level conversations, annual reviews, improvement plans, etc. skip-level conversations, annual reviews, improvement plans, etc.
  • Oversee multi-branch recruiting ,interviewing ,hiring to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a talented bench
  • Nurture a high performing culture through actions, accountability and feedback
  • Champion change through the "Heart, Head and Hands" methodology
  • Serve as steward of Rentokil and Terminix business model to ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level


What do you need?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Management related subject
  • 8+ years of field services management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Alternatively, military ranking of O5
  • Business operations experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Skill in managing and leading assigned projects - understanding of project management
  • Maintains relevant licences as required by federal, state or local regulations for termite/pest control and any other business unit products and services
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in the area of specialty.
  • Position may require frequent overnight travel
