Job Description:- Provides strategic direction for improvement initiatives aligned with organizational principles and collaborates with executives, physicians, and stakeholders to advance regional clinical priorities.
- Serve as Patient Safety Officer for the region.
- Leads campus/regional directors and senior managers to build high-performing teams.
- Advises on patient safety issues and lead strategic clinical projects.
- Develops frameworks for planning, implementation, data analysis, and evidence-based improvement.
- Creates plans for data collection, benchmarking, and predictive analytics to improve clinical performance.
- Maintains credibility, demonstrates empathy, and accomplishes objectives through influence and a client-centered approach while communicating a shared vision.
- Defines strategies and detailed action plans for risk management, infection prevention, quality assurance, and compliance.
- Deploys strategies to enhance CMS ratings, Leapfrog Safety Grade, and other publicly reported measures.
- Oversees compliance for TJC, CMS, and AHCA surveys.
- Evaluates financial, safety, and clinical implications when recommending policies or technologies.
- Plans and evaluates activities including budgeting, policy development, and fiscal responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory requirements, patient safety, risk management, and performance improvement. [Required]
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and managerial abilities with expertise in team building. [Required]
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence and build consensus across stakeholders. [Required]
- Mastery of performance improvement methodologies and tools (Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA). [Required]
- Skilled in facilitating process improvement initiatives and managing multiple projects with diligence. [Required]
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and tools [Preferred]
Education:- Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
- Masters [Preferred]
Field of Study:- in Healthcare related field
Experience:- 6+ experience in Quality, Compliance, Risk, Patient Safety in a matrix environment with value on the importance of teamwork [Required]
- 10+ years in healthcare leadership [Required]
- 1+ years in a matrix environment with value on the importance of teamwork [Required]
Licenses and Certifications: - Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required]
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) [Preferred]
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Manager (CPHRM) [Preferred]
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]
- Six Sigma [Preferred]
- Lean Bronze Certification [Preferred]
