Position Summary:
The
Recruitment Manager reporting to the VP, Human Resources will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt roles while supporting our HR Managers with non-exempt recruitment needs. The Recruitment Manager will help ensure a consistent, compliant, and efficient hiring process aligned with Novo Health Services’ mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and execute recruiting processes, tools, and systems established by the VP, Human Resources — helping improve efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across all stages of the hiring process.
- Execute recruitment strategies for assigned requisitions, sourcing a diverse and highly qualified candidate pool. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and guide them through the hiring process.
- Support and administer the standardized onboarding process for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees.
- Operate as a "hunter" recruiter — proactively source, engage, and recruit top-tier talent through cold outreach, direct sourcing, executive search techniques, and personal networks, rather than relying on inbound applicants, to fill critical roles across the organization.
- Create and maintain relationships with targeted universities to build out recruitment pipelines.
- Assist in creating succession planning pipelines.
- Share retention trends and insights observed during the recruitment process with the Talent Acquisition Director to help inform leadership retention strategies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, for assigned requisitions. Compile data-driven reports for the Talent Acquisition Director to highlight trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Create an exceptional candidate experience — from initial engagement to offer acceptance, ensuring every candidate feels valued, and respected.
- Stay informed of industry trends, labor laws, and compliance regulations affecting recruitment and hiring practices. Ensure all recruitment activities meet legal and ethical standards, including adherence to equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines and non-discriminatory practices.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition/recruitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or other business related field.
- Direct experience with full-cycle recruitment and supporting process improvements and workflow.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously across a range of exempt roles.
- Demonstrated capability in sourcing and managing searches for professional and skilled roles within competitive talent markets.
- True "hunter" mentality — a proven track record of proactively identifying and engaging passive candidates through cold calling, LinkedIn/direct sourcing, and networking, rather than relying solely on job postings and inbound applicant flow.
- Strong, well-established LinkedIn network and demonstrated proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter (or similar tools) to build talent pipelines and connect with passive candidates.
- Data-savvy with proficiency in leveraging analytics and metrics to optimize recruiting outcomes and demonstrate impact.
- Experience using Workday is preferred, but not required.
