Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Record Management Engineer located at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) in Moffett Field, CA. We are seeking a specialized Records Manager to provide high-level engineering and data governance support for Work Control and Enterprise Maximo (eCMMS). This role focuses on data integrity validation, configuration standards, advanced analytics, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) methodologies, and long-term asset lifecycle strategies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

  • Maximo Expertise: Advanced proficiency with Enterprise Maximo (eCMMS) configuration, asset hierarchies, data structures, and taxonomy standards.
  • Technical Methodologies: Demonstrated expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) principles.
  • Data & Analytics: Strong capability in writing and optimizing database queries (e.g., TOAD, ODBC) to build KPI frameworks and asset health reports.
  • Communication & Coordination: Exceptional ability to collaborate with operations and maintenance leadership to implement technical standards.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with at least 5 years of related experience. 
  • NASA and/or federal experience highly desired

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Define and implement RCM and CBM engineering requirements, including commissioning baselines and repair validation.
  • Standardize Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) data collection methods.
  • Produce detailed engineering reports to evaluate and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PGM), and PT&I program effectiveness and overall asset health.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to roll out maintenance strategies and engineering requirements without handling administrative or clerical duties.
  • Validate eCMMS asset data quality throughout all phases of migration (pre-, during, and post-migration).
  • Establish and enforce corrective actions and configuration standards, including taxonomy, naming conventions, and asset criticality ratings.
  • Develop and maintain robust analytics and KPI frameworks to measure maintenance effectiveness and asset health.
  • Utilize database tools (such as TOAD and ODBC) to write queries and extract actionable insights.
  • Conduct deep-dive engineering analyses on late or missed PM, PGM, and PT&I work orders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Formulate strategic planning initiatives for tiered maintenance programs.
  • Develop engineering frameworks and strategies for building and asset decommissioning.
