Responsibilities:

Blackstone Real Estate is pursuing an ambitious, multi-year transformation toward an AI-native operating model. The Innovation Generalist will sit at the center of that effort, helping drive the Innovation team’s strategic plan across the business, building deep expertise in how Real Estate works today and how it will work tomorrow, and serving as a first point of contact for the teams adopting new tools and workflows.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting execution of the Innovation team’s strategic plan across sectors, tracking priorities and deliverables, and driving projects to completion

• Producing materials and communications for stakeholders across Real Estate and for senior leadership, including updates, presentations and training content

• Developing deep expertise in how key Real Estate workflows are run today, including underwriting, valuations and forecasting processes, and using that knowledge to identify what should be standardized, automated or eliminated

• Becoming a subject matter expert in the firm’s existing proprietary tools and platforms and serving as a first point of contact for Real Estate users, maintaining and troubleshooting those systems where relevant
  
• Leading AI training sessions for the broader Real Estate team and raising AI literacy and adoption across the business

• Building expertise in AI workflow building and the practical use of enterprise AI tools, and helping capture and share the best prompts, agents and use cases developed across the team

• Assisting with identification and evaluation of new third-party AI tools worth piloting, including attending industry conferences to advise the team on the state of the art

• Communicating progress, risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated self-starters, work well in team-oriented environments, exercise sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in real estate, private markets, investment management, financial services, consulting or a similar analytical role

• Undergraduate degree with strong academic record; a technical background (Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.) is preferred but not required

• Genuine interest in AI, technology and innovation, with demonstrated initiative in learning and applying new tools

• Hands-on fluency with enterprise AI tools, or clear evidence of the curiosity and initiative in developing that fluency quickly; experience building agents or automations is a plus

• Working knowledge of Excel-based financial modeling and comfort with data; familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus

• Exceptional diligence and attention to detail, with a track record of owning production work end to end and delivering it accurately and on time

• Demonstrated experience thinking creatively and independently, with confidence in sharing different viewpoints and constructively challenging ideas withcolleagues at all levels of seniority

• Strong organizational and project management skills, managing multiple workstreams across different teams simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts in clear language to business stakeholders

Expected annual base salary range:

$120,000 - $165,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the roleconsist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
