The mission of the Architecture Department is to unite the creative vision, technical execution, and coordinated project delivery under one strategic approach, ensuring every project is thoughtfully designed, documented, and seamlessly delivered.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Architecture team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Improvements team responsible for delivering strategic, well-coordinated improvements projects that enhance, adapt, and extend the life of our existing physical spaces. As the Designer, Improvements, you will play a key role in translating design intent into accurate, executable documentation that respects existing conditions while evaluating the customer and operational experience. You will help develop layouts, technical details, and coordinated Revit documentation that respond to site constraints, operational continuity, and constructability. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will ensure design solutions are feasible, brand-aligned, and deliverable within active retail environments. THE ROLE

As the Designer, Improvements, you will:

• Deliver architectural design solutions for Improvements projects that align with brand standards, existing conditions, operational requirements, and project objectives.
• Advance projects through schematic design, design development, and technical documentation phases, leveraging Revit-based studies and coordinated design solutions to support informed decision-making.
• Produce accurate and constructible drawing packages that maintain design integrity and support seamless project execution.
• Ensure designs achieve engineering, code, accessibility, and landlord requirements while preserving overall design intent.
• Collaborate with consultants and cross-functional partners to deliver coordinated, feasible, and high-quality design outcomes.
• Support successful project delivery through effective management of site information, schedules, drawing documentation, permitting activities, and consultant coordination.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Designer, Improvements has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in building technology, Revit, and other AEC applications.
• A degree in Architecture is preferred.
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
