Overview

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) supports the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet (CNSP) Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT) program, which provides shipboard training, technical assistance, and readiness support to surface ships throughout the Pacific Fleet.

Working closely with the Program Manager, the DPM supports the daily execution of the contract and acts on behalf of the Program Manager in their absence. The DPM oversees the coordination, scheduling, and execution of RATT and Organic Repair Capability Assessment (ORCA) ship visits while helping ensure personnel and resources are effectively managed to meet contract requirements across multiple geographic locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Manager with the daily execution and management of the RATT contract
  • Act on behalf of the Program Manager during their absence
  • Oversee the coordination, scheduling, and execution of RATT and ORCA ship visits
  • Coordinate personnel and resources to support simultaneous and geographically dispersed requirements
  • Help ensure contract activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with PWS requirements
  • Support the management of personnel, schedules, and operational priorities across multiple locations


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing federal Government service contracts, with a focus on Navy ship maintenance, training, or operations
  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience with strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience working with Navy maintenance or training staffs, such as Immediate Superior in Command (ISIC), Type Commander (TYCOM), or Afloat Training Group (ATG) organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of Navy shipboard operations, maintenance processes, and personnel management
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, and personnel across multiple geographic locations

Security Clearance
  • Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance
