Description:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other imaging studies, as assigned.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and explain the process to help ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow physician orders and established protocols when performing imaging procedures.
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
- Practice appropriate radiation safety and infection control procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Assist with imaging procedures for oncology patients as needed.
