Position Details
  • Position: LVN/LPN
  • Location: Brenham, TX
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Commitment: 6 months
  • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per month
  • Shift Options:
    • 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM
    • 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
    • 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM
  • Break: 30-minute break during each 8-hour shift
Position Description
We are seeking experienced and dependable LVN/LPNs to join the nursing team at a state-supported living center in Brenham, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are confident working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), psychiatric needs, and dual diagnoses.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Nurses should be adaptable, quick learners, and able to respond effectively to changing patient needs.

We are looking for strong, competent, reliable, and experienced nurses who are ready to make an immediate impact.
New Employee Orientation and Training
All selected nurses must attend every day of New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, for approximately two weeks.

Attendance and punctuality during orientation are extremely important. The training program is fast-paced, and missed classes may be difficult to reschedule.

Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered LVN/LPN nursing license
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD, psychiatric needs, and/or dual diagnoses
