Full Job Description
Radiographic Lab Coordinator (Gurnick campus)
• Position summary: Perform, supervise, and coordinate RT and XT student laboratory sessions and Medical Assistant class sessions on campus. Host and regularly conduct laboratory sessions indicated in the curriculum to support students' transition to clinical environments.
• Primary duties: Manage and oversee students during required laboratory sessions, including but not limited to physics, digital imaging, venipuncture, positioning, and patient care as required by the program curriculum and goals. Mentor students and proctor on-campus exams as needed.
• Collaboration & communication: Meet regularly with the XT and RT program directors to ensure student success. Conduct, coordinate, and collaborate with on-campus lab instructors to support student learning.
• Laboratory oversight & maintenance: Oversee all inventory, quality control (QC), and upkeep of the RT lab, student RT classroom, and related supplies.
• Student management & records: Monitor and support student academic progress; ensure grades, attendance records, remediation documentation, and disciplinary actions are maintained and up to date.
• Clinical support: Conduct clinical site visits for XT and RT students as requested to support programmatic needs.
• Other responsibilities: Perform additional duties related to laboratory coordination and student support as required by the program.
