Group 33 seeks a technical staff member, with research interests in any of the following fields: HF Over-the-Horizon radar, RF hardware integration, adaptive signal processing, ionospheric phenomenology and modeling, and radar systems engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the group's efforts in developing new radar applications, and also collaborate on diverse and multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, and test HF radar systems for these new applications. Candidates should be comfortable proposing and exploring innovative radar techniques and technologies, and understand how such technologies can impact an existing radar system's capability.

Required:
- PhD degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or related technical field, with 3 or more years of relevant experience in HF radar, adaptive signal processing, ionospheric phenomenology, or radar systems engineering. In lieu of a PhD degree, an MS degree with 7 years of relevant experience will be considered. Candidate must be able to obtain an elevated level of security clearance.

- Experience with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, sponsors, and other research organizations

Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $145,200 - $170,000
Experienced Hiring Range: $145,200 - $220,000
