Full Job Description
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a curious, technically capable R&D Scientist to contribute to the development and improvement of chemical products and technologies across our global portfolio. This role is ideal for a scientist who enjoys hands-on experimentation, rigorous data analysis, and working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to translate scientific ideas into practical, commercial outcomes.
You will be part of an innovative R&D organization supporting both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing?
  • Prepare samples, perform analytical tests, record data and observations, prepare summaries of experiments
  • Perform compaction testing
  • Conduct analysis of compacted samples - thermal conductivity, push-out strength, X-ray
  • Troubleshoot basic process issues and escalate appropriately
  • Perform parameter optimization and failure analysis
  • Handling microscopic components; use of microscopes, tweezers, vacuum tools.
  • Process documentation, basic troubleshooting, maintaining repeatability and yield
Who are You?
  • 1-3 years of industry experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, chemical, or a related field required
  • One or more of the following: Materials testing background, experience working with metals, QC background, lab experience
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to log process data
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab is a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, communicate effectively.
  • Hands-on, good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail; focus on process control, documentation, maintaining quality.
  • Able to stand, reach, use fine tools; occasionally lift small weights or handle assemblies.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $71,822.00 to $107,732.00
