R&D Manager - Bladder Leak Pads, Guards & Liners

Job Description

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. Job responsibilities include:

  • This position will lead a diverse team of up to 12 direct reports to develop and commercialize product solutions to deliver unmet customer needs in the key segment areas.
  • People leadership to include talent development, performance management, compensation planning and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to execute product development work and improve Poise and Depend Light End business results.
  • Develop product timelines and learning plans to integrate into project team to understand critical milestones and priorities.
  • Develop and manage the budget and resource forecast relating to projects.
  • Drive key business decisions for project launches, success criteria, approach, etc.
  • Communicate fully and effectively with leaders, team members, and peers as is required to drive business results and manage risk.
  • Break down barriers for team members ensuring objective delivery in alignment with deadlines or direct them to the Adult Care Director for escalation and guidance.
  • Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability.
  • Ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development policy are fully supported.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills providing work direction to a multi-functional team.
  • Experience developing and executing product development work in R&D.
  • Be comfortable navigating through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence people at all organizational levels, drive decision-making and execute complex projects on demanding timelines.
  • Ability to operate with a growth mindset and have strong mental fortitude to lead a team through challenges.
  • A history of delivering strong results for the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience conducting performance reviews and providing direct coaching to team members.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions/departments to drive balanced business decisions.
  • Prior experience on Adult Care projects.
  • Prior experience as an R&D project leader.

Salary Range: 127,600 6 157,600 USDAt Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
