Job Description

This role is on the PCG-R&D Commercialization & Engineering team and leads a team of engineers. The Group Leader is responsible for overseeing maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives that support business operations. This role requires a working knowledge of scientific principles, products, and manufacturing or engineering processes. The position involves regular interaction with employees across the organization and access to confidential, proprietary, and other sensitive business information, which may occur with varying levels of supervision.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

Responsibilities
• Maintain timely, professional, and effective communication with Technical and Manufacturing teams at the plant, regional, and divisional levels.
• Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of quality-related issues through collaboration with Technical, Manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Review and approve new product formulas and significant reformulations to ensure successful commercialization and manufacturing readiness.
• Coordinate and support pilot runs, test batches, and new product commercialization activities to ensure seamless product launches.
• Drive initiatives to consolidate slow-moving, low-volume, and obsolete raw materials and finished goods to improve operational efficiency and inventory management.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing product quality, manufacturing efficiency, process capability, and production capacity.
• Identify, share, and implement best practices and strategic quality initiatives across manufacturing facilities and technical laboratories.
• Support the implementation and optimization of business systems, technology platforms, and related applications.
• Utilize data analysis and statistical tools to support project execution, root cause investigations, and business decision-making.
• Serve as a technical resource in resolving manufacturing challenges related to product quality, process consistency, productivity, and operational performance.
• Lead manufacturability assessments and qualification activities for resourced products in partnership with the Product Sourcing organization.
• Initiate and manage resourcing requests for non-manufacturable products in collaboration with Technical and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading projects and/or mentoring/supervising people
• At least 3 years of experience in formulation, commercialization, or engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the commercialization process.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and prioritize appropriately in an exceedingly dynamic work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Thorough knowledge of the SW Commercialization, Manufacturing, Tech Transfer and Toller process.
• ARC, Six Sigma Champion or certification

Travel Requirements: 10%
