R&D Engineering ManagerThe job: As our
R&D Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians in the development of new products with a focus on Standard Panels, Alarms and Level Sensors. You will deliver innovative and quality products to the industry on time. You will work in close collaboration with our team in Suzhou, China for growth, international product development, component sourcing and cost savings opportunities. You will work in partnership with our AMI Global team for IoT connected product development. You will work collaboratively with our sales team, manufacturing engineers, and multiple other internal teams as well as external customers.
The skills, education, and experience you need: To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Strong leadership skills managing engineering or product development teams
- Experience in Hardware and Firmware design preferred
- Willingness to incorporate new technologies into product design
- New product development from concept through launch
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with regulatory approvals, product testing, and technical documentation
A 4-year degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and 7-10 years of experience are required.
