Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Minimum of one year of relevant industry experience, including internships or co-ops
• Hands-on experience with oxide ceramic materials formulation and processing preferred
• Strong grasp of mathematics, statistics, and engineering principles
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering experiments on new materials and processes with minimal direction
• Optimize and improve existing materials, products, and procedures
• Support project planning, execution, and reporting for CoorsTek projects
• Devise basic research methods and document results and processes
• Operate process and test equipment, understanding the engineering functionality
• Manage specific pieces of processing or analytical equipment
• Collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams
• Contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement efforts
• Engage in further training for skill enhancement
