Full Job Description
We are seeking a safety-focused, results-driven Quarry Operations Manager to lead production activities across our two quarry sites in the United States Virgin Islands (St. Croix and St. Thomas). This role is accountable for delivering production targets efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.

Key Functions:

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with MSHA regulations and company policies
  • Lead day-to-day quarry operations, including stripping, drilling, blasting, crushing, and load-out, to support efficient production
  • Support the development and execution of annual production plans, operating budgets, and capital improvement initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, and operational efficiency
  • Manage, develop, and mentor direct reports to build a capable and engaged operations team
  • Oversee the execution of site-level capital projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager to support equipment reliability and plant availability
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Sales, Quality Control, and Accounting, to support operational and business objectives
  • Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and support reclamation and community engagement efforts
  • Prepare and present production, workforce, inventory, and operational reports to leadership

  • 10+ years of experience in quarry or aggregate operations, including leadership experience in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and operational performance metrics
  • Working knowledge of mine planning, production scheduling, and quarry operations processes
  • Experience supporting capital projects within an operating environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AggQC or AggFlow is a plus

The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000.
