Full Job Description
About the Team:

The Reliability team at Relativity Space ensures quality is built into every stage of the Terran R design and production process, embedding reliability from the very beginning. The team works directly with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to stay close to the hardware, understand constraints, and proactively shape decisions. As the program moves from development into production and scaled operations, this is the time to establish the right processes, controls, and inspections without slowing progress. The team plays a key role in balancing risk, fostering a culture of ownership, and making sure speed never comes at the cost of reliability. Success means creating a quality system that scales with the Terran R program and Relativity as a whole.

About the Role:
  • Document Control & Administration: Maintain the centralized document library, including document classification, indexing, metadata, numbering, version control, and revision tracking while managing creation, approval, release, and obsolescence workflows to ensure only current documents are in use.
  • Records Management: Maintain controlled records in accordance with retention schedules and regulatory requirements, ensuring secure archival, compliant disposal, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Systems & Tools: Administer document management and quality systems (DMS/QMS), perform periodic repository audits, support system updates or migrations, and generate reports on document status and compliance metrics.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to applicable standards and support internal/external audits or inspections by providing accurate, timely documentation.
  • Procedures & Training: Assist in developing and maintaining document control procedures and work instructions while providing training on document management best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Partner with quality, engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure documentation readiness, consistency, and lifecycle compliance during product or process changes.

About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering, familiar with QMS platforms and digital applications, preferably in aerospace
  • In-depth working experience of AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements and principles
  • Strong skills in document control, process mapping, and continuous improvement
