Full Job Description
The Quality Supervisor will run the day-to-day functions of the quality department. This role will also provide technical support to the plant's staff, supervisors, and engineers, while assisting with effective CAPA resolutions, internal auditing, vendor compliance, and other tasks that assist the quality manager. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility

Role Responsibilities:
  • Initiate internal continuous improvement quality projects.
  • Lead the efforts toward the achievement and adherence to quality management systems and plant preparation for external customer and third-party quality audits.
  • Establish and optimize product and process criteria and ensure their deployment throughout our various value streams.
  • Ensure SOPs are current based on existing processes within QA Management system.
  • Responsible for customer certifications and product measurement and testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to launch new projects and transfer projects from intercompany sources.
  • Lead and engage in customer complaint investigations and corrective action responses.
  • Facilitate effective corrective actions internally and externally. Includes dealing with internal personnel as well as customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Support third-party quality audits.
  • Train inspectors/Technicians concerning product quality criteria and develop/optimize inspection systems resulting from Engineering and/or Customer feedback.
  • Maintain PPAP program both internally and coordinated with customer portals.
  • Participate in PFMEA & Control plan development and review.
  • Support QM to facilitate internal and external ISO audits.
  • Apply Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
  • Work with cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement for COPQ targets from department and plant level.
  • Other tasks assigned by the quality manager and higher-level managers.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems or Framework
  • Lead or Supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office systems.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • AIAG PFMEA training certification
  • LEAN/Six Sigma Tools
  • World Class Manufacturing (WCM) training/experience
  • Able to communicate effectively


Annual Salary Range: $84,000 - $105,000. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
