10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience in a multi-functional business environment

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager(Sr. Manager) for a well-established, growth-oriented organization in the Metro-Detroit area. This leadership role will serve as the strategic and operational HR leader for the organization, partnering closely with executive leadership to build a high-performance, employee-focused culture while overseeing all Human Resources functions across the business.

Requirements of the Director of Human Resources
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.
  • Strong background in organizational development, employee relations, workplace culture.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and HR process management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience with ESOP administration or employee ownership environments is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources
  • Serve as the senior Human Resources leader for the organization, overseeing all HR strategies, programs, policies, and employee initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop organizational strategies around workforce planning, succession planning, retention, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Design, implement, and manage performance management programs, employee development initiatives, and leadership training programs.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance programs to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage organizational development initiatives focused on culture enhancement, employee engagement, retention, and change management.
  • Support leadership in safety initiatives, employee wellness programs, and regulatory reporting.
  • Administer HR systems, employee records, benefits reconciliations, and key HR operational processes.
  • Support employee communications, company engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
