Job Duties

As our Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the regional quality performance in line with the unit targets. You'll also ensure alignment and execution of full chain quality strategy on region level, supporting branches and districts in problem solving to eliminate the Cost of Poor Quality across sales, ordering, delivering, installation, hand-over and Service.

You will bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in sourcing, supply chain management or relevant area to KONE. You will use the knowledge gained through your Technical or Business degree (BS / BA) from an accredited college or university.

  • Leadership and proven ability to work in cross-functional team and international environment.
  • At least 3-5 years progressive experience in quality
  • Analytical skills with experience of operational processes for continuous improvement through application of Six Sigma or other proven quality tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated success managing team even in complex situations.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional/matrix teams
  • Flexibility to travel (60% of time) through the region for site visits, branch visits and key meetings attendance
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including senior management
  • Ability to effectively evaluate business performance and identify initiatives to drive improvement.

Annual Base Pay Range:

The hiring range for this role in Lisle, IL is $135,500 - $177,870. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

We will also consider candidates in the following areas. Below are the different ranges applicable to those locations:
  • Chicago: $135,500 - 177,870.
  • Boston; New York: $145,700 - 191,205.
  • Charlotte: $126,600 - 166,215.
  • Nashville; Orlando: $120,300 - 157,920.


Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
