Full Job Description
Position Purpose:

To lead the site quality function, ensuring that all products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards. The Quality Manager is accountable for driving a culture of quality excellence, continuous improvement, and right-first-time delivery across manufacturing operations, while aligning with business strategy and company values.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
• Robust Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensures effective implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems aligned to recognized standards (e.g. ISO 9001 / IATF), maintaining compliance and audit readiness.
• Consistent high-quality product output

Leads processes and controls that ensure products meet defined specifications, reducing defects, rework, and customer concerns.
• Effective problem resolution and prevention

Drives structured root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to eliminate repeat issues and improve reliability.
• Customer satisfaction and quality performance

Monitors and improve key quality KPIs including warranty, internal defects, customer feedback and compliance audits (QASI / ISO) ensuring alignment with business targets.
• Cross-functional quality leadership

Partners with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and suppliers to embed quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuous improvement of culture

Champions Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance process capability.
• People leadership and capability development

Builds, mentors, and develops the quality team to ensure strong technical capability and succession planning.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 5-8+ year's business/lean/operations experience, driving team excellence, and managing people.
• Experience in quality control in a manufacturing and assembly environment
• Proven leadership skills (lead, motivate, process and people management skills).
• Experience in improvement processes (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001)
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Understanding of SAP system.
• Quality accreditation CQI Level 5 or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership and team development capability
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical capability
• High level of organisation and decision-making ability
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Proven experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success in driving quality improvements and cost reduction
• Experience managing audits, customer concerns, and supplier quality
• Track record of delivering operational and strategic quality initiatives

Job Conditions:
• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
