Job Title
Quality Manager

Responsible for managing, planning, coordinating, and directing, a quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Direct, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities, to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures and progress reports, in order to inform management of current status or work activities.
• Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist employees in solving work problems.
• May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
• Interpret company policy to employees and enforce company policy and practices.
• May investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
• Support and create effective teams, units, and environments.
• Impact and promote organizational strategy and vision.
• Create linkages for employees on how they impact business strategy.
• Complete objectives through supervisors, managers, or senior exempt specialists who have significant latitude.
• May set direction for a major, multi-functional unit or department.
• Responsible for unit/department for budget, schedules, and planning.
• Understand, and meet or exceed quality standards; seek to minimize error rate.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts. Support and help to implement new ideas.
• Effectively give and receive feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field plus 5 years related work experience or 10 years related work experience.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Perform detail-oriented tasks utilizing high language skills and high math skills.
• Employ high written and oral communication skills.
• Extensive expertise of knowledge in the specified area.
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Target Hiring Range
Annual Salary: USD 108,000.00 - USD 142,000.00

Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
