Quality Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality Management System within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes that support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on quality systems experience, and the ability to drive accountability and process improvements throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Systems Management
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
  • Develop, update, and maintain quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits as needed.

Continuous Improvement
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and process consistency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to implement improvements.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor the quality team, providing coaching, accountability, and performance management.
  • Evaluate current processes and team effectiveness while helping build a stronger quality culture throughout the organization.
  • Support employee training and awareness related to quality standards and best practices.

Customer & Supplier Quality
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer quality concerns and supplier quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming product quality and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Help ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Metrics
  • Track and report quality performance metrics to leadership.
  • Analyze trends and recommend actions to improve overall quality performance.
  • Support strategic planning related to quality and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
