How you'll make an impact in this role- Quality Assurance & Control: Designing inspection and testing procedures to catch non-conformities before a product leaves the facility.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with necessary government, health, and safety laws.
- Team Leadership: Training employees on quality standards and supervising quality control personnel.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing performance data (such as scrap rates or customer feedback) and implementing corrective actions.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred.
- Quality Professional credentialed from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) preferred.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing preferred.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seekingExperience in the behavioral health field, knowledge of regulatory agencies, including the Joint Commission.
Experience working with auditors, including state and local funding agencies.
Experience in generating productivity reports and quality data reports from an electronic system.
