Who You Will Work With:

The vacantAccounting and Financial Systems, Leadrolewillreport to the Leader, Accounting.

What YouWillDo: 

QE

  • Plan, lead, and oversee all testing activities including Test Plan and Joint Test Strategy

  • Provide direction and guidance for test targets, test cases and test coverage using testing, technical and product expertise

  • Work with team to define test strategy and approach for automated and manual testing

  • Analyze and monitor defect metrics within the release and among releases for the product line, identify trends and recommend test effectiveness measures and quality conclusions.

  • Constantly evaluate and refine QA processes/methodologies and enforce them within all teams involved

  • Participate in and contribute test effort estimates in Sprint/Release planning sessions

  • Defining automation metrics and the process for collecting and validating these metrics, monitor efficiency of the automation activities of the Integration team.

  • Developing NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed

Performance

  • Planning and executing performance testing activities

  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and issues

  • Collaborating with development and QA teams to optimize application performance Designing and implementing performance test plans

  • Executing load, stress, and scalability tests

  • Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.

  • Acquainted with industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing.

  • Develop NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed

WhatYou Bring:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, Performance testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.

  • Experience in the creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks including management of test reporting.

  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

  • Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline.

  • Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.

  • API testing using POST man or similar.

  • Knowledge with web applications architecture, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge and experience with Git/Stash

  • Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, Bamboo

  • Knowledge and experience of micro-services architecture regarding integration and functional automation tests

  • Agile team and methodology experience; Kanban experience is desirable.
