Our Lightroom ecosystem is an industry standard among photographers around the world. To take our mobile app to greater heights, we are looking for an iOS Quality Engineering Developer / Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This person should have a passion for mobile photography and join our dedicated and focused team.
What You'll Do- Collaborate with fellow QE Developers to build automation tests for various features in Lightroom using XCUITest Automation framework and streamline automation workflows.
- Partner with passionate QE Developers, QE and Developers to enhance automation for our feature workflows.
- Implement and support end-to-end automated solutions, delivering a positive impact on product quality.
- Improve developer and QE efficiency with continuous improvement of automated tooling and processes.
- Analyze automation test results to identify potential issues, then work with the team to drive those issues to resolution.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test labs and environments.
- Perform ad-hoc test runs on code changes for early detection of feature issues.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and increase your scope of impact by reaching beyond the product area across the team to improve automation methods or processes.
- Engage with engineers through daily or weekly stand-ups and meetings.
- Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
- Advocate for outstanding quality and usability on behalf of our customers.
What You Need to Succeed- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QE Developer or Software developer.
- Strong knowledge of Swift or JavaScript and at least one other language, such as Java, Python, C#, Ruby, or PHP.
- Familiarity with languages and technologies like Xcode, Swift, XCUITest, UI Automation and Full-stack web development
- iOS mobile experience is desired.
- Photography and/or Lightroom experience is a bonus.
- Customer-focused and has a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
