Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead enterprise Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Performance Testing, API Testing, DevOps, and release readiness capabilities across Victaulic's global Digital Platforms & Engineering organization. This role is responsible for establishing and maturing enterprise-wide quality engineering, testing, automation, CI/CD, release governance, platform reliability, and continuous improvement practices that support business-critical applications and technology platforms.

As a Quality Engineering & Assurance and DevOps Lead, you will establish, formalize, and continuously improve enterprise quality engineering, assurance, automation-first testing, DevOps, and release readiness processes while providing strategic and operational leadership across global technology delivery teams. You will work closely with senior IT leadership, Product Management, Agile Delivery, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, vendors, offshore partners, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, high-quality, reliable, and well-governed technology delivery aligned with business priorities and delivery timelines.

This position is a leadership role with significant cross-functional responsibilities, including coaching, mentoring, workforce planning, performance management, capability development, vendor coordination, budget awareness, executive reporting, and organizational maturity across global and distributed teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mature the Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Performance Testing, API Testing, and DevOps functions.
  • Establish enterprise-wide quality engineering, testing, automation, CI/CD, and release governance standards.
  • Provide leadership for global teams, including coaching, mentoring, workforce planning, performance management, and capability development.
  • Drive quality strategy across the SDLC using Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Develop quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure delivery effectiveness, quality outcomes, reliability, and operational performance.
  • Lead automation-first testing strategies including functional, integration, API, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Delivery leaders to improve deployment frequency, release quality, and production stability.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, DevOps tooling, infrastructure automation, and deployment governance.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, root cause analysis, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, offshore partnerships, and service providers supporting testing and DevOps services.
  • Create and execute workforce growth, training, onboarding, and talent development strategies for global teams.
  • Drive adoption of cybersecurity, compliance, operational controls, and audit readiness practices across delivery teams.
  • Present strategy, roadmaps, risks, metrics, and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience across Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Infrastructure, Technology Operations, or Software Engineering leadership roles within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • 10+ years leading global technology teams, including distributed, offshore, and cross-functional organizations.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling technology organizations and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong expertise in SDLC, Agile methodologies, Scrum, CI/CD, release management, quality engineering, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience establishing KPIs, quality metrics, service level objectives, dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks.
  • Experience leading technology transformation, process improvement, automation, operational excellence, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, business partners, vendors, offshore partners, and technical teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, vendors, resources, offshore partnerships, and strategic technology investments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, audit practices, operational controls, and governance standards.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Git-based development, containerization, Kubernetes, Jira, Azure DevOps, automation frameworks, and observability platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business reviews and present strategy, roadmaps, risks, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience required. Advanced degrees are a plus.
