- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure.
- Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including system administration, network management, and technical support.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline processes and improve the development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations relevant to financial services.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and the departmental budget effectively.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
QualificationsEssential:- Proven experience in a senior role such as an IT Manager, DevOps Manager, or a similar position.
- Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of networking, IT security principles, and system administration.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
Desirable:- Previous experience working within the financial services, fintech, or mortgage industry.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, ITIL).
- Experience managing IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
