Job DescriptionYou will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product excellence through rigorous audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for interfacing with multiple functional areas, investigating non-conformance issues, and leading quality audits.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Interface with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
- Investigate non-conformance issues and develop root-cause corrective actions.
- Conduct Hardware Quality Audits (HQAs) and Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) walk-downs.
- Perform product, process, and surveillance audits to identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures based on audit findings.

Basic QualificationsSTEM degree at the Bachelor's level or above, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have an interim clearance prior to starting.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Desired skills• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Experience with SAP, Windchill, MPMLink

National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
