Full Job Description
Role Summary

Quality representative within production who ensures product / process conformity in accordance with the control plan, customer specific requirements and the right application of the MANN+HUMMEL quality principles.

Main Tasks

  • Ensures the compliance to the control plans and MANN+HUMMEL quality principles, such as Production Basics, non-conforming product, etc.
  • Ensure that the related test/measurement equipment is used correctly and in functioning condition
  • Responsible for maintenance of quality documentation for series production such as control plan, inspection instructions, boundary samples and approval of visual work instructions.
  • Support production in the training of Quality Topics.
  • Ensures that external and internal Quality Performance Information is communicated to the Operations Team (e.g. customer and internal concerns). Attends the daily production meeting as a representative of quality.
  • Supports improvement of non-quality costs.
  • Ensures the completion of product audits and scheduling of layered process audits (LPA) and follow up.
  • Responsible for requalification to the schedule (control plan) and follow up.
  • Ensure the update and maintain the capability studies (SPC data collection) in production
  • Responsible for evaluation of technical changes and deviations on behalf of quality in conjunction with the Customer Quality Engineer.
  • Ensures conformance to the containment process for non-conforming parts in production. Leads the Material Review Board process for their area of responsibility
  • In case of a internal quality non-conformity leads the problem-solving process with the relevant team.
  • In case of a customer complaint, leads the problem-solving process in conjunction with the Customer Quality Engineer
  • In case of a field claim, is a team member in the analysis of Field Claims (Field Failure Analysis)
  • Collaborates with the Project Quality Engineer to complete the new project hand over process and ensure that new projects fulfill the quality requirements of the plant.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.


Your Profile

Education:
  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering (alternatively engineer with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience)

Skills & Experience:
  • 3 years experience in relevant production processes and technologies
  • 3 years experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment (fluid and/or water filtration preferred).
  • Expertise in relevant production related quality tools like FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, Statistics, Problem Solving, Temporary Quality Wall, Production Basics
  • Ability to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to Quality parameters
  • Fluent in written and oral local language and English communications
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and SAP
  • Familiar with related production technologies, component and product quality measurement

Salary: $85-100k
