Job Description

Job duties: Monitor and improve product quality by analyzing production data (such as defect rates and variation) to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications. Use quality tools and software, including SAS JMP, to track and evaluate performance. Ensure that only products meeting customer requirements are shipped. Verify that outgoing products match purchase orders to reduce returns, customer complaints, and financial losses. Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints in coordination with the Quality Manager and Customer Service team to ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction. Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management to provide visibility into overall product quality and identify areas needing improvement or investment. Develop and update work instructions to standardize production processes, improve consistency, and increase product yield and quality. Review and approve machine and tool qualification documents to ensure equipment meets quality standards before being used in production. Implement quality checkpoints and inspection steps throughout the manufacturing process to detect and correct issues early, preventing defective products from reaching customers.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related.

7 years of experience in 84 engineering or related. Requires skills and experience to involve:
  • Capable of building and implementing all systems necessary to successfully pass an audit conducted by an external certification body for the new Quality Management System (QMS). This includes creating all required documentation, establishing version control, and ensuring that all operational processes are maintained under statistical control.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS), including preparing organizations for external certification audits and ensuring full audit readiness.
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949 (automotive) and AS9100 (aerospace) standards, including semiconductor qualification and certification requirements. Strong understanding of AECQ101 standards and compliance with environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH.
  • Expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication, assembly, and back-end processing, with a focus on quality improvement, yield optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage customer quality issues, including 8D corrective actions and RMAs, and to support New Product Introduction (NPI), production ramp-ups, capacity planning, and forecasting. Experience reviewing and interpreting customer specifications and qualification requirements.
  • Experience participating in customer audits, leading periodic quality reviews, and reporting to management on product quality, process capability, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop work instructions, implement quality gates, and apply statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to ensure product consistency and process reliability.


Rate of Pay: Rate of pay: $123,178 - $125,000 per year.
