Quality Data Analyst

Location: Mebane, NC (preferred) or Bradenton, FL or Palm Beach Gardens

Base Salary Rate: $102,051.00 - $120,060.00

The Quality Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in creating and presenting analyses and insights related to product field performance and quality-related business processes. This role will help ensure that key business quality initiatives and decisions are underpinned by relevant, accurate, supportive data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, trend, and report on quality-related data from various data streams, sources, and systems across the Residential-Fire business.
  • Create and distribute standardized periodic (eg: monthly) reports tracking key performance metrics.
  • Respond to issue-specific, ad-hoc data mining/analysis requests in a timely fashion, collaborating across functions where needed.
  • Execute deep-dives into complex data sets across multiple data streams and sources (leveraging available AI) to expose underlying relationships and trends that may be obscured and/or difficult to detect manually.
  • Leverage AI to extract, validate (when possible), and communicate conclusions and insights that are underpinned with relevant data.
  • Create and present analyses, and insights to Residential-Fire cross functional leadership at periodic (eg: monthly) Quality Data Reviews to help drive effective decision making and prioritization of actions and initiatives related to quality.
  • Seek, identify, and act upon opportunities to improve the quality of the raw data that we collect (including modifying systems and processes where needed, and with appropriate support) in order to continuously refine and improve data accuracy and value.
  • Work cross-functionally to help ensure the expedient return of product for analysis
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards to track key metrics for the Residential Fire business.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and/or data analytics


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technology, Science or related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel (including Pivot table creation and use) and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake, & JD Edwards
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to think strategically and contribute to long-term planning.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with the application of descriptive and inferential statistics to large data sets
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey insights and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Minimal travel


Compensation and Benefits

Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company's performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
