Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical diploma/technology degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent experience).
• 5-10 years of experience in quality control, testing, or engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Solid experience with inspection, testing, and validation methods for products and systems.
• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, suppliers).
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements in testing or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads testing, verification, validation, and quality control activities for the Local Business Line.
• Provides feedback to Engineering to improve solution and process design.
• Supports and delivers quality training, promoting a strong quality culture and results orientation.
• Ensures accurate, compliant reporting of quality data per ABB, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Escalates product quality and safety issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Supports development of test protocols and performs inspections with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Develops a network of partners to support product and solution inspections.
