Job Summary**
The Quality Control Lead at Hyve Solutions Corporation is responsible for overseeing and optimizing quality control processes within our manufacturing and assembly operations. This role ensures that all products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, contributing to overall product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and standards for all production stages.
* Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to identify defects and non-conformities.
* Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality and process efficiency.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
* Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to management.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer quality requirements.
* Participate in supplier quality management activities, including audits and performance reviews.
* Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing quality plans and testing protocols.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
* 5+ years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their implementation.
* Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis).
* Experience with testing equipment and instrumentation used in quality assurance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and high-quality standards.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
