QC/QA Supervisor - Oil & Gas Services

Lead quality operations in a fast-paced oil & gas environment where compliance, accuracy, and accountability are critical to project success.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC/QA Supervisor to oversee quality assurance and control processes across engineering and fabrication activities. This role is responsible for ensuring all vendor documentation, inspection records, and quality processes meet industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, and compliance, along with the ability to lead by example, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Oversight & Compliance

  • Supervise and oversee the review of Vendor Data Books (VDBs) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project and contractual requirements
  • Ensure adherence to industry codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, and client specifications)
  • Maintain full traceability of materials, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), NDE reports, and inspection documentation
  • Lead efforts to ensure all documentation meets regulatory and contractual obligations prior to final acceptance
Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Provide guidance, training, and oversight to QC/QA personnel and support staff
  • Act as a key liaison between Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Vendors to resolve quality and documentation issues
  • Foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
  • Lead by example in maintaining high standards for quality and compliance
Process Improvement & Quality Systems

  • Support and enhance quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and industry best practices
  • Oversee the tracking and resolution of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation workflows, audit readiness, and quality processes
  • Ensure proper maintenance and organization of quality records and documentation
Documentation & Reporting

  • Review and validate inspection reports, test records, material certifications, and calibration documentation
  • Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready
  • Support internal and external audits, including client and regulatory inspections
Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of experience in QC/QA, quality supervision, or inspection roles within oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial services
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and codes (ASME, API, AWS, ISO 9001)
  • Experience with vendor documentation, fabrication records, and quality traceability
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
