Description

NOTE: This opportunity is full-time employment position only (no 1099 or C2C engagements, or third parties or staffing agencies, please). The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active secret clearance. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite (Washington DC and Arlington VA) support two days a week. Additional onsite support may be required based on program needs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Report to the Project Manager on a regular basis in regard to the quality and condition of the testing.
  • Oversee the implementation and ensure efficiency systems.
  • Plan, perform and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality deliverables.
  • Create, update and maintain software quality assurance test plans, suites and scripts for the implementation of procedures to complete quality assurance testing.
  • This role is exclusively responsible for finding the bugs in the software.
  • Develop and implement procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports databases and applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.
  • Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
  • Responsible for all activities involving QA and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete test cases to complete input validation and data verification.
  • Complete assessment of how software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommend methods to optimize the organization's process.
  • Review, recommend improvements, on processes, procedures, and workflows.
  • Research software products for feasibility and feature-set.
  • Provide guidance and support to other developers and QA.


Requirements

  • Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by our government client.
  • Must possess an active secret security clearance.
  • Must be local to the DMV area.
  • This is a hybrid role, and candidate must be available to be on-site (Washington DC and Arlington VA) at a minimum of 2 days per week.
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT security field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in quality assurance is required.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with .NET environments and Azure DevOps
  • Must be able to design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system and business requirements are met.
  • Expert QA knowledge is a must to evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
  • Experience conducting QA audits, review and analysis of data and documentation.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), a major PLUS.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or 10 years of equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.


Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. $80k - $95k.
