Job Description
Position Summary
Join a team where quality truly matters. As a Quality Assurance Receipt Inspector, you'll be on the front line of ensuring the integrity and reliability of every material and component that enters our facility. Your expertise keeps our operations running smoothly, our products meeting the highest standards, and our mission moving forward.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Assurance Receipt Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring every incoming part and material meets the highest standards. You will approve incoming items by confirming they comply with purchase orders, technical specifications, and engineering drawings, applying your ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements. Your work includes reviewing supplier documentation-such as Certificates of Conformance, material test reports, dimensional inspection records, and NDE reports-to validate accuracy and completeness while ensuring proper traceability when required. You'll conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calibrated tools and precision equipment, including CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Throughout the process, you'll accurately document inspection results, capturing any nonconformances or discrepancies in the quality management system. When issues arise, you'll segregate and control nonconforming items, manage nonconformance reports, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges. You'll also partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to ensure correct disposition of inspected items and help strengthen our quality program by developing and maintaining quality assurance procedures and work instructions.
