FleetUp is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Experience in testing Web Applications
- Experience in testing Mobile Applications
- Experience with AWS Services and applications using them
- Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements
- Self Driven testing including Functional Testing, Data Validation, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Automated Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve
- Seeks and understands the big picture/business cases behind individual requirements
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years in a QA or Testing role
- Experience with Agile development methodology including User stories, Use Cases, UAT, product sprint and backlog management.
- Strong SQL skills - writing complex SQL queries
- Experience using Github, JIRA
- Experience in Agile/Kanban processes for management
- Experience with test automation
