You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity's dynamic working arrangement.

The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

Business Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst, Investly will work closely with our developers, designers, and product managers in testing the quality of software features and continually improving our ability to verify the quality of our products and services. They will be responsible for developing testing strategies and tools throughout the software stack. The ideal candidate enjoys sharing their expertise in software quality testing and helping improve development processes to achieve higher quality standards.

They will be the primary technical contact for all internal teams to ensure Software Quality, Security and Data Privacy and Protection is always maintained in line with industry standards and best practices in financial services.

The Expertise You Bring
  • Experience working with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) analyzing requirements, liaising with business and technical stakeholders, leading requirement elicitation working sessions and developing and presenting recommendations / solutions to business partners and senior management.
  • Familiarity with BABOK methodology and Business Analysis Best Practices.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical skills.


What You Will Bring
  • Familiar with AWS, and development tools like Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins, Postman
  • Hands-on experience with constructing SQL queries and testing APIs
  • Working experience in JS, Java, Python or other modern programming language
  • Experience with automated mobile testing with React Native (iOS and Android devices)
  • Aptitude to rationalize decisions and reach consensus
  • Excellent time-management skills, adaptability, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills required


Experience, Education
  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of work-related professional experience in quality assurance, with manual and automation testing
  • Knowledge of software test concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Working experience with automation framework such as Selenium, or any other test automation framework suited for web, cloud, and mobile applications
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis of defects in complex software components and services
  • Basic programming skills to write and debug automated test

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $73,000 to $113,000 , based on your experience and qualifications.
