Job Description:

Are you passionate about building the tools that power the world's most advanced embedded systems? Join a team of highly skilled engineers developing the compilers, libraries, utilities, and command-line tools that help developers create mission-critical software used in automotive, robotics, industrial automation, and beyond.

This is an opportunity to work close to the operating system, solve complex technical challenges, and influence the evolution of a world-class development platform.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and enhance system-level software including compilers, command-line utilities, runtime libraries, and developer tooling.
  • Build innovative solutions that enable customers to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure embedded applications.
  • Investigate and solve complex technical problems across the software stack, from low-level system components to developer-facing tools.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to define product requirements, architecture, and long-term technical strategy.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously expand your expertise in compiler technologies, operating systems, embedded development, and software engineering best practices.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong software development experience in C and/or C++.
  • Understanding of embedded software development concepts and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenging technical issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for technical discussions and architecture design.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build technology that other developers rely on every day.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Any of these would be great but not essential:

  • Interest in programming language implementation, code generation, optimization, or compiler internals.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows-based development environments.
  • Background in systems programming, including operating systems, debuggers, profilers, interpreters, linkers, or performance analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with low-level software, performance optimization, or developer productivity tools.

Why you'll love this role:

  • Work on technology that sits at the heart of embedded and real-time systems.
  • Solve technically challenging problems that require deep systems knowledge.
  • Collaborate with experts in operating systems, compilers, and systems software.
  • Influence products used by developers worldwide.
  • Grow your expertise in a highly specialized and impactful engineering domain.
