We are looking for a QE Lead (Automation) to join our growing team in United States!
Role Summary:We are looking for a dynamic QE Lead with strong expertise in both functional testing and test automation to lead the quality engineering efforts for a third-party administrator of life insurance policies initiative. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the policy administration lifecycle, defining and executing the QE plan, managing a test teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the QE planning and execution for the new shared service operating model.
- Define and manage functional test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Build and maintain automation test suites for UI, SIT, and E2E validation using industry-standard tools.
- Oversee test data management, environment setup, and test execution cycles.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and manage QE team members across onshore/offshore locations.
Experience Level:- 7+ years in QE/QA with 4+ years in leadership roles.
Required Skills & Experience:- Strong US Insurance markets knowledge - Policy Lifecycle, Wealth Management.
- Deep understanding of insurance payments workflows, policy administration, and financial integrations.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium and API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certification or hands-on experience with TPA implementations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps tools.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
Must Have:- Test Automation (C# with Selenium).
- Lead exp (will Mentor and manage a team of at least 7 QE team members across onshore/offshore locations focused on Functional/Manual/Test Automation).
- Insurance or financial domain exp, preferably in Policy Lifecycle, Wealth Management services (annuities exp ideally).

- A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $90,000 - $115,000.
