Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Testing Analyst to support enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse initiatives by ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of data ingestion and integration processes. This role will lead quality assurance activities, develop automation strategies, validate ETL processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead quality assurance efforts for multiple concurrent data ingestion and integration projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks to support scalable data validation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Design and implement automation frameworks and testing strategies aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and data warehouse implementations.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL and data warehouse testing techniques.
• Review project requirements, data mappings, and technical design specifications to identify test scenarios.
• Analyze data issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop action plans for defect resolution.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and coordinate defect resolution with project teams.
• Create and maintain daily and weekly QA metrics, dashboards, and status reports.
• Support CI/CD processes and automated testing initiatives.
• Participate in production implementation verification and validate production deployments.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and testing standards.
• Mentor and coordinate QA team activities, including offshore testing teams, test case reviews, and work assignments.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Overall 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on data warehouse and ETL testing.
• 5+ years of hands-on ETL testing experience in enterprise data warehouse environments.
• 3+ years of experience with test automation.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS.
• 2+ years of experience leading QA Analysts or coordinating QA activities on project teams.
• Strong experience with SQL, backend data validation, and ETL testing.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, OLAP, and data validation techniques.
• Experience testing enterprise data ingestion and integration processes.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, PyTest, or dbt tests.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira for test management and defect tracking.
• Experience mentoring offshore QA teams and reviewing test cases.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
