We are currently seeking a
QA Test Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Arlington, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Responsibilities Include:- Design and develop automated test scripts for web and API-based applications using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
- Create, maintain, and execute BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test scenarios using SpecFlow and Gherkin syntax.
- Build and enhance Page Object Model (POM) automation frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability.
- Develop and execute data-driven test scenarios with dynamic test data management.
- Perform API testing and integrate API validation with UI automation testing for end-to-end coverage.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting.
- Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development teams to translate requirements into automated test cases.
- Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Create and maintain test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking artifacts.
- Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and distinguish application defects from automation script issues.
- Mentor junior team members on automation best practices, framework design, and testing standards.
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA Automation, or API Test Automation.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Minimum 2+ years of strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, JSON, and XML.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
- Minimum 2+ years of exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Degree:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills: Relevant certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Developer or Cloud Practitioner
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800 - $145,200 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
