What You'll Do - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Review requirements to identify gaps and quality risks
- Document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
- Validate fixes with development and business teams
- Build repeatable automated test banks and regression test banks
- Create testing metrics and measure quality against requirements
- Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation
- Test APIs, system integrations, interfaces, and application workflows
- Support regression testing, deployments, production validation, and release activities
- Maintain testing documentation and provide regular status updates
- Participate in project meetings, requirements reviews, and release planning
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and application quality
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, software testing, or systems analysis
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing test cases
- 5+ years identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar defect management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with SQL and database testing
- Experience testing APIs and system integrations
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with web-based and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of SDLC and software testing methodologies
- Experience supporting large-scale IT projects or system implementations
