Incumbent QA Manager
Transdev is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead performance monitoring and ensure service delivery meets established standards and compliance requirements. This role plays a critical part in tracking performance metrics, overseeing regulatory adherence, and supporting operational excellence across the program.
The Quality Assurance Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to coordinate data collection, analyze performance trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring program operations are fully compliant with State and Federal regulations, as well as corporate and client policies.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to build effective relationships. The Manager will serve as a key point of contact, maintaining frequent communication and collaboration with the client to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. This position is based in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensures overall quality in on-time performance, bus condition/status, missed service, operator performance, service interruptions, and driver/dispatch radio communication.
- Conducts and logs field inspection reports for random W/C lift and climate control inspections. Performs walk-through and documents bus cleanliness, pull cord operation, seats, graffiti, etc.
- Monitors operator safety/security compliance and service delivery at sites and pre-determined passenger boarding and alighting points.
- Replace panels and signs as required.
- Coordinates with appropriate agencies on obstructions & necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot R&R AVL units in buses, shelters, and buildings as required. Troubleshoots and removes radio units as required.
- Changes out security camera discs as required.
- Assists police with related transit service inquiries and investigations.
- Supports Charter and Special Events Operations.
- Prepares transit vehicles and facilitates the processing of buses for salvage and disposal.
- Manages on-site and post-delivery new vehicle inspection programs.
- Processes tag, title, and PSC documentation as required for new vehicles.
- Issues fuel cards and track use
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3 years' experience of QA/QC management experience
- 3 years of paratransit experience
- Ability to effectively interact with all employees, from operators to senior management, and with the public.
- Proven administrative and multi-tasking skills, computer proficiency, excellent customer service skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and bring energy and enthusiasm to the job.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
- Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
