Job Purpose:
Responsible for manufacturing processes compliant with quality standards.Support customers in
failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective/containment/preventive actions. Assist customer
focus team in resolving quality issues following quality standard practices. Develops and
implements a plan for lean/6 Sigma deployment within the plant. Provides progress reports and action
plans for lean/6 Sigma implementation. Perform other quality related activities as needed.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
• Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect
and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
• Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and
applicable government regulations.
• Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials
and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control
procedures are followed.
• Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, ISO9000 and TL9000 standards. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and
interpreting inspection support documents and records.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience of related experience.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean-Kaizen experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Personable, must interface well with customers.
• Contract Manufacturing Experience preferred.
Salary Range (annual): $80,000 - $90,000
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
