Job Summary The QA Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of Workday recruitment processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium, along with expertise in functional, regression, integration, and API testing. The tester will work across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), identify and manage defects, and collaborate with development and QA teams within Agile and CI/CD environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. • Design and execute test cases to validate Workday recruitment processes and functionality. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing. • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test scripts. • Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle. • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to investigate and resolve defects. • Apply Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) practices throughout testing activities. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD processes. • Participate in Agile development and testing activities. • Ensure software quality, reliability, and adherence to defined requirements. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in QA automation testing. • Strong hands-on experience with Java. • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium. • Proven experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. • Strong experience with functional, regression, integration, and API testing. • Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). • Experience with defect identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution. • Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD processes. • Experience working in Agile methodologies. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
