Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO professional to lead and coordinate business-focused projects within Retail, Apparel, Fashion, or Consumer Products environments. The role will focus on functional project management involving PLM and/or ERP systems, with responsibility for project governance, stakeholder management, planning, coordination, and delivery. This is a functional PMO role and does not require hands-on software development or technical engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and closure.
• Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and governance structures.
• Coordinate with business, functional, operations, and technology stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project status reporting, RAID logs, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and overall delivery progress.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Coordinate requirements, process changes, testing, training, and business readiness activities.
• Work with business teams to understand current processes and support future-state process improvements.
• Coordinate activities across PLM, ERP, merchandising, product development, sourcing, supply chain, and retail business functions.
• Support system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and business transformation initiatives from a functional project management perspective.
• Ensure project documentation, decisions, action items, and deliverables are maintained appropriately.
• Provide clear and concise executive-level project updates and reporting.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Program Management, or Business Transformation.
• Strong experience managing functional and business projects rather than hands-on technical development.
• Experience working within Retail, Apparel, Fashion, or Consumer Products industries.
• Experience with PLM and/or ERP implementations, enhancements, or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, planning, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and dependencies simultaneously.
