QA - HRYBRID- INPERSON INTERVIEW- COLUMBUS, OHAPPLY ONLY IF YOU ARE LOCAL TO OHThe QA Lead will own end-to-end testing strategy, governance, execution, and release readiness for enterprise applications and integrations. This role will lead testers, ensure requirements traceability, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide clear quality and release reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop test strategy, scope, schedules, estimates, entry/exit criteria, and execution plans.
- Lead and mentor QA testers; review test artifacts and enforce QA standards.
- Analyze BRDs, FRs, user stories, acceptance criteria, APIs, workflows, and data mappings.
- Create Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases, test data, and RTMs using Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Design and execute functional, API, integration, system, regression, E2E, UAT, database, and ETL/data pipeline testing.
- Lead defect triage, ensure complete defect documentation/evidence, and communicate release readiness and quality risks.
- Coordinate with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, PMs, DevOps, DBAs, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills:- 7+ years of enterprise QA/testing experience.
- 2+ years as QA Lead/Test Lead with formal leadership responsibilities.
- Hands-on Playwright or Selenium automation; Playwright + TypeScript required.
- Strong BRD/FR analysis, RTM, requirements traceability, and test coverage management.
- Strong API testing and SQL/database validation.
- Experience supervising testers, reviewing artifacts, defect triage, and management reporting.
- Git, code review, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
- Required: Data pipeline / ETL validation experience.
- Highly Desired: Playwright + TypeScript framework design/migration from Selenium; reusable fixtures, Page Objects, API clients, test-data factories, and custom reporting.
- Performance-testing exposure and ability to coordinate security/performance testing.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
